Zuckermann Spinet Harpsichord

So I've got a new project.  A friend was cleaning his house to make room for a new baby.  He thought of me when he came across this harpsichord in his basement.  His wife got it at an auction as basically a "basket case" quite a while ago.  My friend had thought he would restore it bet never had the time.  He seems to think it was a kit from some time in the 60's.  I tend to agree after doing some research.  It appears to be a Zuckermann Spinet Harpsichord.  They don't seem to be all that desirable in terms of quality but it should be fun fixing up none the less.

The pics...

Here are some pictures of what it should look like when it's all fixed up...

  1. Do you have to build a cabinet?

  2. The guy that gave it to me has the top and will get it to me as soon as he can. I have some of the wood sides but susspect that I'll need to make some.
